05.20.'03 - Jason Newsted Catches Short Touring Break Before Busy Summer

The Voivod tour with Sepultura ended on the 18th of this month, but Jason Newsted only has a few more days left until he will embark on a long touring summer. The Ozzy Canadian tour starts off June 1st in Vancouver, and will go on until twelve days before Ozzfest. On both these tours, Jason will perform double duty. Voivod will open for Ozzy in the Canadian tour, playing a 45 minutes set, then Jason will get up on stage again, this time with Ozzy, as the main act. At Ozzfest, Voivod will play the second stage.
